Sungrow, a global leader in PV inverters and energy storage systems, unveiled its ChargeStack 1000 at the Sungrow Charging Summit 2025, bringing together industry partners to shape the future of sustainable mobility. The ChargeStack 1000, a 1 MW to 3.5 MW megawatt charging system (MCS), is designed to transform scalability, profitability, and grid integration for Europe’s electrified transport sector.
ChargeStack 1000 — 1+X Design: Expand as You Grow
The ChargeStack 1000 introduces a major advancement in scalability, uptime, and return on investment. Sungrow’s design philosophy focuses on meeting operators’ needs, combining high performance with long-term cost efficiency and reliable service.
1+X, Scalable Growth
The system features a flexible power cabinet design, allowing operators to scale from 1 MW to 3.5 MW effortlessly. Supporting MCS (1500A) and CCS2: 500A oil-cooled (boost 800A) standards, it caters to diverse fleet requirements. Its decoupled architecture allows for MCS or V2G upgrades without hardware replacement, cutting upgrade costs by up to 70%.
1+X, Profitable Growth
Optimized for efficiency, the ChargeStack 1000 enables a 30-minute “Power Nap Charge” at 1500A, delivering 600 kWh (SOC 10–95%). Sungrow’s in-house SiC modules achieve 97% efficiency, reducing energy loss, while Full-Matrix Power Distribution increases charging throughput by 33% and maintains 98.5% uptime across varying European climates.
1+X, Grid-Friendly Growth
The ChargeStack 1000 integrates solar, storage, and smart charging management, optimizing energy flow and grid interaction. Operators can unlock up to 60% higher profitability through demand response, peak-valley arbitrage, and VPP participation. One-stop commissioning improves construction efficiency by 50%, and Sungrow’s global service platform ensures remote monitoring, rapid response, and full lifecycle reliability.
1+X, Experience-Driven Growth
Designed for user convenience, the system features OCPP 2.0.1 integration, E-Truck Wake-Up functionality, dynamic reactive power control, ergonomic cable management, smart lighting, and plug-and-charge capability. Cloud and web-based monitoring allows centralized system configuration, diagnostics, and data security. Deployable within 2–4 weeks and supported by over 520 global service outlets with 24/7 after-sales support, the ChargeStack 1000 delivers a reliable and high-quality charging experience.
