Juniper Green Energy Expands Its Renewable Portfolio With Two Newly Commissioned Projects Of ~64 MWp In Gujarat And Maharashtra

Juniper Green Energy Limited has successfully commissioned approximately 64 MWp of new renewable energy capacity across two major projects located in Gujarat and Maharashtra. This achievement includes the commissioning of a wind power project in Gujarat and the solar component of a hybrid power project in Maharashtra. The milestone reflects Juniper Green Energyโ€™s strong execution capabilities and its continued dedication to advancing Indiaโ€™s clean energy transition.

In Gujarat, the company commissioned around 28 MW of wind power capacity from its 70 MW wind power project situated in Devbhumi Dwarka. This project was executed through its subsidiary, Juniper Green Kite Private Limited, and achieved commissioning on October 15, 2025 โ€” nearly four months ahead of its Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) of February 7, 2026. The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the total 70 MW project was signed with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited on February 8, 2024. The early completion of this project demonstrates Juniper Green Energyโ€™s efficiency in managing large-scale renewable developments and its ability to meet timelines ahead of expectations.

In Maharashtra, the company successfully commissioned the 36 MWp solar component of its 133 MWp hybrid power project in Nanded district through its subsidiary, Juniper Green Spark Ten Private Limited. This solar capacity was commissioned on October 12, 2025 โ€” an impressive 13 months ahead of schedule. The PPA for this project was executed with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited on November 18, 2024, with an SCOD of November 17, 2026. The early commissioning highlights the companyโ€™s focus on accelerating renewable capacity addition to meet the nationโ€™s growing demand for sustainable energy.
