INOX Air Products (INOXAP), one of India’s leading producers of industrial, electronic, and specialty gases, has entered into a long-term partnership with Grew Energy Private Limited. Under this agreement, INOXAP will supply ultra-high purity (UHP) nitrogen for Grew Energy’s upcoming 3 GW solar PV cell manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. To ensure continuous and reliable delivery, INOXAP will make a significant investment to build a dedicated pipeline network connecting the manufacturing site to its existing Air Separation Unit in Narmadapuram.
The supply of UHP nitrogen will support the highly precise manufacturing processes required for producing photovoltaic solar cells. This collaboration highlights the shared commitment of both companies to strengthening India’s clean energy ecosystem and supporting the country’s vision of greater self-reliance. Apart from fulfilling Grew Energy’s high-purity gas requirements, the partnership will also contribute to the industrial development of the region. The new solar PV cell facility is expected to begin operations in early 2026, in line with Grew Energy’s commissioning targets.
Commenting on the partnership, Diganta Sarma, Head of Strategy and Business Development at INOX Air Products, said that the agreement is a major milestone in advancing India’s renewable energy ambitions. He emphasized that a dependable and sustainable supply of high-purity industrial gases is essential to building a strong solar manufacturing ecosystem. Sarma added that such collaborations not only support national development goals but also fuel regional industrial growth. As India moves toward its Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make-in-India aspirations, partnerships like this play a key role in driving innovation, sustainability, and long-term self-reliance.
Nirmal Jain, Vice President – Engineering & Projects at Grew Energy, noted that the company aims to position India as a global center for solar PV cell manufacturing. He stated that having INOX Air Products as a trusted gas supply partner strengthens their confidence in achieving this goal. He added that the shared vision between the two companies will help create long-term value for stakeholders and contribute to building a cleaner and more energy-secure future for India.
This collaboration marks another significant step in INOX Air Products’ efforts to support high-growth sectors such as solar energy, electronics, and semiconductors. With several major partnerships in the solar industry over the past year, INOXAP continues to position itself as a key enabler in the expansion of India’s rapidly growing solar manufacturing landscape.
