World Hydrogen Expo 2025 Set to Host the Largest and Highest-Level Global Hydrogen Conference in Korea

The World Hydrogen Expo 2025 (WHE 2025), scheduled from December 4–7, 2025 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, Korea, is poised to become the largest and most influential hydrogen-focused international platform ever hosted in the country. Co-chaired by Jae-hong Kim, Chairman of the Korea Hydrogen Alliance, and Nam-hoon Kang, Chairman of the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association, this year’s event will bring together top-tier government officials, international organizations, and global CEOs, reinforcing Korea’s leadership in the global transition to a hydrogen economy.

Beginning this year, the flagship Hydrogen International Conference will be integrated with the renowned H2 MEET industry exhibition, creating the world’s most comprehensive hydrogen event. More than 5,000 attendees and over 100 global speakers are expected, including around 200 high-level industry leaders from the Hydrogen Council, which represents 140 global companies with a combined market cap of KRW 11,700 trillion.

WHE 2025 will feature three specialized conference tracks:

• Leadership & Market Insight, where government leaders from Korea, Japan, Germany, the United States, Australia, and Canada will present national hydrogen policies, demand-creation strategies, and supply-side frameworks;
• Hydrogen Deep Dive, focusing on global clean hydrogen investment trends, technology development, and industry strategies, with participation from S&P Global, IRENA, OECD, POSCO Holdings, Aramco, and Bloom Energy;
• Country Day, highlighting national hydrogen strengths and collaborative opportunities with Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

The conference aims to accelerate international cooperation by providing a platform to align policy directions, foster commercial partnerships, and shape the strategic evolution of the global hydrogen ecosystem.
