The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has released the second revision of the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers List-II for solar PV cells. This update has been issued under the earlier office memorandums from 2019, 2024, and the amendment dated 28 July 2025, which guide the implementation and enlistment process for ALMM. The ministry had already issued the ALMM List-II on 31 July 2025 and has now published the revised version after receiving approval from the competent authority.

The updated list includes new additions made on 24 November 2025. One of the key entries is Websol Energy System Limited, which has been enlisted with a capacity of 602 MW per year. The validity of this enlistment will remain from 24 November 2025 to 23 November 2029. The revised list continues to support the governmentโ€™s efforts to strengthen quality control and transparency in solar manufacturing. By updating ALMM List-II, MNRE aims to ensure that only approved and reliable manufacturers of solar PV cells are allowed for government-supported projects. This step is expected to guide procurement decisions and promote trusted domestic manufacturing as India continues to expand its renewable energy capacity
