Sharika Enterprises Wins UPPTCL Turnkey Contract For 132 kV Underground Cable System On Sonik–Sarain Katiyan/Murtazanagar Route

Sharika Enterprises Limited (SEL) has added another major project to its growing portfolio with Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (UPPTCL) awarding the company a turnkey contract for a 132 kV underground cable system. The project will cover the double-circuit Sonik–Sarain Katiyan/Murtazanagar stretch in Uttar Pradesh, marking another step forward in strengthening the state’s power transmission network.

The project includes more than 10 kilometres of underground high-voltage transmission cable installation. Sharika’s scope of work is extensive and covers the complete cycle of the project—from engineering and design to the supply, laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage XLPE cable systems. In addition to the electrical components, the contract also includes all related civil and structural works required to support the safe and reliable execution of an underground cable link of this scale.

This order further reinforces Sharika’s steady expansion in the underground high-voltage cable segment. Over the past few years, the company has focused on building strong capabilities in this area through its technical proficiency, high-quality execution, and advanced project management skills. The new contract strengthens Sharika’s position as a dependable player in India’s evolving transmission infrastructure sector.
