Saatvik Green Energy’s Ambala Solar Module Plant Earns IGBC Green Factory Silver Rating For Sustainable Manufacturing Practices

Saatvik Green Energy Limited, one of India’s fastest-growing fully integrated solar PV module manufacturers, has been awarded the IGBC Green Factory Building Silver Rating by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) for its modern manufacturing facility in Ambala, Haryana. This recognition highlights Saatvik’s commitment to sustainable, responsible, and future-ready manufacturing practices. It reflects the company’s focus on resource efficiency, environmental stewardship, and creating a healthy and resilient workplace environment.

The Ambala plant was recognized for its performance across several key sustainability parameters, including efficient management of energy and water resources, integration of renewable energy, reduction of carbon emissions, responsible waste management and recycling, a safe and forward-looking workplace for employees, and the use of sustainable building materials and technologies. Saatvik Green Energy was formally honored at the Green Building Congress 2025, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The event celebrated leading organizations across India for their contributions to advancing the nation’s green building movement.

Speaking on the achievement, Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Green Energy Limited, said that receiving the IGBC Silver Rating is a proud moment for the company. He emphasized that sustainability must start at the source, not only in the clean energy products produced but also in the way manufacturing operations are designed and managed. According to Mathur, the Ambala facility demonstrates this philosophy by combining operational efficiency, environmental responsibility, and world-class quality.

He added that the recognition reinforces Saatvik’s commitment to achieving Net Zero manufacturing and supporting India’s clean energy transition. Saatvik’s sustainability-first approach is aligned with its long-term strategy of responsible growth.
