Hindustan Power, one of India’s leading integrated energy companies, has signed a Power Supply Agreement (PSA) with Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) through its subsidiary, MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Ltd., for the supply of 130 MW of power from its Annupur plant. The agreement was executed under the Design, Build, Finance, Own and Operate (DBFOO) model.

This PSA follows the Letter of Award issued by APDCL earlier this year and represents an important step in meeting the growing energy requirements of the state. Hindustan Power commenced the supply of electricity to Assam in October 2025, ensuring a stable and sustained power flow to support both industrial and domestic demand.

Commenting on the agreement, Ratul Puri, Chairman of Hindustan Power, said that the company values the opportunity to collaborate with APDCL, emphasizing its focus on providing state utilities with a reliable and efficient power supply. He added that Hindustan Power is pleased to contribute to Assam’s energy needs and support the state’s broader development priorities.
