With only two days left until its official opening, the World Hydrogen Expo 2025 (WHE 2025) is entering its final preparation stage ahead of the event scheduled from December 4โ7 at KINTEX 2. This yearโs edition is set to become the largest and most comprehensive global gathering dedicated to the hydrogen industry, integrating both an international exhibition and a high-level conference under one platform.
Hosted by the WHE Organizing Committee, co-chaired by Nam Hoon Kang, Chairman of the Korea Automobile & Mobility Association, and Jae-Hong Kim, Chairman of the Korea Hydrogen Alliance, WHE 2025 marks a major strategic expansion. The integration of the H2 MEET exhibition and the International Hydrogen Conference has transformed the event into a full-spectrum platform encompassing policy, technology, market insights, international cooperation, and public engagement.
More than 100 global speakers, senior government representatives, international organizations, and around 5,000 conference participants are expected to attend. The exhibition is projected to attract over 30,000 visitors, positioning WHE 2025 as the largest hydrogen-focused event ever held.
Covering 22,000 square meters, the exhibition will feature approximately 250 companies from over 20 countries, representing the full hydrogen value chainโfrom production and storage to transport and utilization. Key Korean exhibitors include Hyundai Motor Group, AES Tech, Shinsung CNT, Duon System, Talent LNG, and award-winning innovators such as BTE, APGREEN, VINSSEN, and ENERGYN. Global leaders including 3M, Linde, Air Liquide, Henkel LOCTITE, and Mitsubishi Chemical Group will also showcase their latest technologies.
The official opening ceremony on December 4 will welcome nearly 400 leaders from industry, academia, and research institutions. The prestigious H2 Innovation Award will also be presented on the same day.
The International Conference is organized into three tracks:
โข Leadership & Market Insight โ global policy and industry trend briefings
โข Hydrogen Deep Dive โ technological strategies from major corporations
โข Country Day โ national case studies from Australia, Canada, and the U.K.
Key side events include the H2 Business Partnership Fair, facilitating B2B consultations between 36 global buyers and over 80 Korean companies, and the GHIAA General Assembly, focused on multinational cooperation.
Public engagement has been strengthened through Korean cultural experience programs, a Hydrogen Talk Concert, and Hyundai Motor Groupโs NEXO fuel cell vehicle test drives, offered from December 5โ7.
Pre-registration is open until December 3 on the official WHE 2025 website www.world-hydrogen-expo.com
