Mr. Vinay Vyas, CEO of Enrich Energy and one of India’s most respected voices in green energy and sustainability, has been honoured with the “Best Clean Energy CEO Award” at the Future Energy Leadership Summit 2025. This recognition celebrates his global impact, deep technical expertise, and pioneering leadership in advancing renewable energy and energy storage solutions across continents.
Armed with two specialised master’s degrees—a Master of Engineering in Renewable Energy from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and a Master’s in Energy Economics from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS)—Vinay brings a rare fusion of engineering depth and economic insight to the clean energy sector. His holistic understanding of technology, markets, and long-term energy systems has positioned him as a transformative leader in India’s sustainability landscape.
Vinay has been at the forefront of 8+ GW of renewable and energy storage projects across Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa, and the EU. His experience spans a wide spectrum of technologies and applications, including green hydrogen and green ammonia, large-scale solar, rooftop PV, BESS, microgrids, standalone storage systems, solar irrigation pumps, BIPV, water channel-top solar, and rural electrification.
His journey reflects rich, multidimensional industry exposure—from leading long-term Independent Power Producer (IPP) initiatives to steering short-term project development and executing global EPC mandates. This diversity has enabled Vinay to shape renewable energy strategies with both technical precision and commercial vision.
Beyond his role at Enrich Energy, Vinay serves as Chair of the Energy Storage Committee at NSEFI, where he drives sector-wide advocacy, policy dialogue, and industry collaboration to strengthen India’s energy storage ecosystem.
