Oswal Pumps Limited has announced that it has received a major Letter of Empanelment and Letter of Award from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited. The value of the order is around ₹380 crore, including GST, and it covers the supply and installation of 13,738 off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems. These systems will be delivered under the PM Kusum B Scheme, known in Maharashtra as the Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump Yojna. The order includes pumps of 3HP, 5HP, and 7.5HP capacity, which will be installed at identified farmer locations across different districts in the state.
The company will carry out the complete scope of work, which includes designing, manufacturing, supplying, transporting, installing, testing, and commissioning the solar-powered water pumping systems. Along with installation, Oswal Pumps will also provide a full system warranty and undertake repair and maintenance for five years. The systems will be connected to a remote monitoring setup to help track performance and ensure a quick response in case any issue arises.
The award comes with strict timelines. The Letter of Empanelment and Letter of Award remain valid for one year, and once the Notice to Proceed, Work Order, or Joint Survey Report is issued, the installation of all systems must be completed within 60 days. This puts a clear focus on timely execution across all farmer sites.
Oswal Pumps clarified that the awarding agency is a domestic entity and that neither the promoters nor any group companies have any interest in it. The company added that the order does not fall under related party transactions. The announcement was formally shared on December 11, 2025, with both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India as part of the company’s disclosure obligations under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations of 2015.
