Ahasolar Technologies has been awarded a contract to provide engineering and project management consultancy (EPMC) services for an 875 MW solar power project being developed by CIL Rajasthan Akshay Urja Limited, according to project details.
The solar project is located within Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited’s (RRVUNL) 2,000 MW solar park in Rajasthan. Under the contract, Ahasolar Technologies will support the construction and commissioning of the project.
The scope of work includes the review, verification and approval of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor drawings and documents. It also covers scrutiny of the bill of materials, construction and erection schedules, and quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) documentation, including manufacturing quality plans, site quality plans and testing procedures.
The consultancy contract is valued at INR 11.8 million and will be executed over a period of 18 months from the date of receipt of the work order.
CIL Rajasthan Akshay Urja Limited was established in June 2025 as a joint venture between Coal India Limited (CIL) and RRVUNL, aimed at developing large-scale renewable energy projects in the state of Rajasthan.
