AXITEC Energy India Pvt. Ltd., a global manufacturer of high-performance solar PV modules, has commissioned a 580 kW rooftop solar photovoltaic project at Umiyaji Stone Crusher in Nashik, Maharashtra, strengthening its presence in India’s commercial and industrial (C&I) solar segment.
The solar installation is designed to support the energy-intensive stone crushing operations by reducing reliance on grid electricity while improving energy reliability and long-term cost efficiency. According to the company, the project is expected to generate approximately 742,400 kWh of clean electricity annually and help avoid nearly 609 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year.
The project was executed by Polaris Renewable Solutions Pvt. Ltd., which served as the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) partner. AXITEC supplied its solar PV modules for the installation, with both companies working closely to ensure optimal system design, efficiency and operational performance.
Commenting on the commissioning, Tanmoy Duari, CEO of AXITEC Energy India Pvt. Ltd., said the project demonstrates how reliable solar technology can deliver tangible operational value even in power-intensive industrial environments. He added that AXITEC remains focused on supporting industrial decarbonisation through high-performance modules and strong partnerships with experienced EPC players.
Gunpreet (Kunwar) Gujral, Director at Polaris Renewable Solutions Pvt. Ltd., said the project reflects the company’s expertise in delivering solar solutions for demanding industrial applications. He noted that close collaboration with AXITEC enabled efficient execution and will help the client achieve long-term energy savings and sustainability goals.
With an annual generation of over 7.4 lakh units of renewable electricity, the project aligns with India’s broader renewable energy and climate targets while highlighting the role of solar power as a practical solution for industrial sustainability.
AXITEC Energy India stated that it will continue expanding its footprint across the country’s C&I sector, focusing on solar solutions that combine engineering quality, financial viability and environmental responsibility.
