Enfinity Global has announced the commercial operation of the first project under its portfolio of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Microsoft in Italy. This milestone comes with the launch of a 33.8 MW AC solar PV power plant, marking the start of a strategic collaboration aimed at supporting Microsoftโs sustainability goals through a dependable supply of renewable energy.
The initial PPA is part of a broader partnership between Enfinity and Microsoft, covering up to 366 MW AC, which includes additional renewable energy projects that are already under construction across Italy. Through this collaboration, both companies aim to create a positive socio-economic impact by investing in local communities and generating jobs in the regions where the power plants are being developed, including Lazio, Emilia-Romagna, and Basilicata.
Carlos Domenech, CEO of Enfinity Global, commented on the development, saying that the company is proud to supply solar energy to a global technology leader like Microsoft. He emphasized that Enfinity Globalโs mission is to deliver reliable and value-added renewable energy solutions to both global and local clients, while maintaining a strong commitment to being a responsible and engaged member of the communities in which its power plants operate.
