Pace Digitek Limited has secured a major renewable energy contract from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL), marking an important milestone for the company. The development was disclosed in a regulatory filing dated February 10, 2026, and strengthens the company’s presence in Karnataka’s growing clean energy market.
The project involves the development of a 250 MWAC Solar PV plant integrated with a 250 MW/1100 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The project will be set up at the Pavagada Solar Park, one of the largest solar hubs in the country. The total estimated cost of the project is around Rs. 17,750 million, including GST.
As per the company’s statement, the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and will be executed within 18 months from the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) or the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement. Once operational, the project will have a lifespan of 25 years in line with the terms mentioned in the Request for Selection (RfS) and the PPA.
The electricity generated and stored through this project will be supplied at a tariff of Rs. 5.51 per unit. The integration of battery storage with solar power is expected to improve grid stability and ensure a reliable power supply even during non-solar hours.
Pace Digitek also clarified that there is no involvement of its promoter group or related companies in the awarding entity. The company confirmed that the transaction does not fall under related party transactions and has been conducted at arm’s length.
