Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has informed the stock exchanges about the incorporation of a new step-down subsidiary as part of its ongoing expansion in the renewable energy sector. In a regulatory filing dated February 17, 2026, the company notified BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited about the formation of Skyspin Energy Limited (SEL).
The new company has been incorporated by Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eleven Limited (AREH11L), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of AGEL. With this development, Skyspin Energy Limited has become a wholly owned subsidiary of AREH11L and a step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited. The disclosure has been made in compliance with the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Skyspin Energy Limited has been registered with the Registrar of Companies in Gujarat, Ahmedabad. The company has an authorised and paid-up capital of Rs. 1,00,000. As it has just been incorporated, it has not yet started business operations and currently reports nil turnover.
According to the filing, the main objective of SEL is to work in the renewable energy sector. Its activities will include the generation, development, transformation and distribution of electricity from wind, solar and other renewable sources. The incorporation did not require any special regulatory approvals apart from standard registration procedures and does not involve any related party transaction.
The intimation to the stock exchanges was signed by Pragnesh Darji, Company Secretary of Adani Green Energy Limited.
