A 3 MWp solar plant in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, has been successfully commissioned with a state-of-the-art DG-PV synchronization system, marking a significant step toward smarter energy management and optimized solar integration.
The newly implemented system enables intelligent coordination between solar photovoltaic (PV) generation and diesel generator (DG) sets, ensuring reliable power supply, improved operational efficiency, and optimized energy utilization. Using real-time data, the system automatically regulates solar inverter output to prevent reverse power flow into DGs, maintain stable DG operation without trips, and maximize solar energy utilization.
The project is expected to deliver substantial diesel savings while operating fully automatically without manual intervention. Advanced monitoring, control systems, and automatic metering infrastructure (AMR) have been deployed to enable centralized monitoring, seamless communication, and robust data logging, ensuring long-term reliability and high performance.
Industry experts note that this commissioning represents a key advancement in intelligent solar automation, highlighting the growing adoption of smart hybrid energy systems across India.
