ACME Solar Holdings Limited has announced a major development in its renewable energy portfolio. The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, has signed two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with SJVN Limited. This update comes after the company’s earlier announcement made on November 11, 2025.
The agreements cover two separate project capacities of 300 MW and 150 MW, taking the total contracted capacity to 450 MW. These projects fall under the Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) framework. The FDRE model is aimed at ensuring a more stable and reliable supply of renewable power. Unlike traditional renewable projects that may face variability due to weather conditions, FDRE projects are structured to provide assured and scheduled power delivery.
As per the regulatory filing, the project has been awarded by SJVN Limited, which is an Indian public sector entity. The agreement includes a fixed tariff of Rs. 6.74 per unit. This fixed tariff provides long-term revenue clarity and financial stability for the company. The Scheduled Commencement of Supply Date (SCSD) has been set as March 1, 2028. Once the supply begins, the agreement will remain valid for a period of 25 years from that date.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company secretary, Rajesh Sodhi, confirmed that the details have been submitted to both BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited in compliance with listing requirements.
The company also clarified that neither its promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in SJVN Limited. It further stated that the agreements are not related party transactions and have been executed on an arm’s length basis.
With the addition of these 450 MW projects, ACME Solar Holdings Limited continues to strengthen its presence in India’s renewable energy sector. The agreements highlight the company’s focus on large-scale, reliable green energy projects and its commitment to expanding its footprint in the growing clean power market.
