Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, held talks with Johann Wadephul during a working visit to Berlin, underscoring the continued momentum in UAE–Germany bilateral engagement.
The high-level meeting focused on reviewing the strategic relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Germany, with both sides exploring avenues to further enhance cooperation in line with shared interests and a commitment to advancing a comprehensive strategic partnership.
Discussions covered a broad spectrum of sectors, including economic and trade collaboration, investment flows, industrial development, renewable energy, food security, science, and advanced technology. The two ministers emphasized the importance of expanding joint initiatives that support sustainable growth and long-term economic prosperity.
Sheikh Abdullah stated that UAE–Germany ties represent a model of constructive cooperation built on a shared vision to promote stability and prosperity. He noted that the steady development of the partnership reflects the depth of relations between the two nations and their mutual commitment to broadening collaboration in priority sectors.
In addition to bilateral matters, the ministers addressed regional developments, including the escalating security situation following Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region. Both sides highlighted the need to intensify international efforts to strengthen security and stability, while advocating diplomatic solutions to prevent further escalation.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, UAE Minister of State; Abdulla Balalaa, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability; and Ahmed Alattar, UAE Ambassador to Germany.
