Tion Renewables GmbH has completed the acquisition of a 69 MWp agrivoltaic (Agri-PV) park in Schwarzholz, Saxony-Anhalt, from FEFA Projekt GmbH, expanding its operational renewable energy portfolio in Germany.
The solar park became operational in February 2026 and is expected to generate approximately 87 GWh of renewable electricity annually, enough to supply around 25,000 households. The project combines solar power generation with continued agricultural use of the land and operates under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA), providing stable and contractually secured revenue.
Ingmar Helmke, Chief Executive Officer of Tion Renewables, said the acquisition strengthens the company’s portfolio with a high-quality operational asset backed by long-term revenue visibility. He also acknowledged the support of EQT Active Core European Infrastructure and FEFA Projekt for their collaboration during the transaction.
Manuel Sieth, Chief Investment Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Tion Renewables, said the company is acquiring a well-developed and efficiently operated Agri-PV project and expressed interest in continuing its partnership with FEFA.
Fabian Schwarzlose, Managing Director of FEFA Projekt GmbH, said the family-owned company had developed the project from concept to commercial operation and selected Tion Renewables as the new owner based on its market expertise and efficient decision-making process.
The acquisition further strengthens Tion Renewables’ renewable energy portfolio while supporting the deployment of agrivoltaic projects that integrate clean energy generation with agricultural land use.
