Qatar Fund For Development Pledges $434.2 Million To Revive Lebanon’s Energy Sector And Support Public Services

The Qatar Fund for Development has announced a financial support package worth $434.2 million to assist Lebanon as the country continues to face a severe socio-economic crisis. The funding is expected to benefit more than 1.5 million people by supporting critical infrastructure and essential humanitarian services across the country.

A major portion of the package, around $400 million, will be directed toward strengthening Lebanon’s struggling energy sector.
