Gautam Solar Breaks Into India’s Top 4 Solar Module Manufacturers

Gautam Solar, India’s fastest-growing solar module manufacturer, has secured 4th position in the recent report by JMK Research & Analytics for Q4 2025. The report highlights the competitive performance of prominent players in India’s solar module market.

According to the data, the total modules shipped during the quarter were 14 GW, with the top 5 makers accounting for more than 52% of this capacity. Gautam Solar’s inclusion among the top 4 producers indicates the rising role played by it in India’s solar manufacturing sector, which is in line with the Government’s vision of ‘Make in India’, and alsotowards the achievement of 500 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030. 

The reports further revealed that domestic manufacturers accounted for 96% of total shipments, while international and Chinese competitors accounted for 4%. This Indian industry dominance also underscores the integral role of the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) regulation and the Government of India’s policy thrust towards self-reliance in renewable energy manufacturing.
