American Clean Power Association (ACP) has announced that Felicia McLemore has joined the organization as Vice President of Corporate Communications. In this role, she will lead efforts to strengthen ACPโs corporate messaging and expand its outreach to a wider audience. Artealia Gilliard, ACPโs Chief Communications Officer, welcomed McLemore and highlighted her strong leadership background.
She noted that McLemore has a proven track record in executive positioning and thought leadership strategies, and that her experience will help elevate ACPโs research and policy expertise while making clean energy topics more accessible to diverse audiences.
McLemore brings extensive experience in communications, having led strategy and managed high-performing teams for several well-known organizations. Her previous roles include working with Marriott International, the District of Columbia government, and most recently PepsiCo. Across these positions, she developed and executed communication strategies for global brands and public institutions.
Speaking about her new role, McLemore said she is excited to join ACP at a time when the clean energy sector is playing a key role in shaping the future of energy in the United States. She emphasized that corporate communications will be essential in helping people better understand the economic and reliability benefits that clean energy provides.
She also expressed her interest in ensuring that these messages connect with audiences nationwide. McLemore holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from James Madison University and a Master of Science in Integrated Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University.
