Godrej Enterprises Group’s Energy Solutions business has closed FY26 with a robust project pipeline worth ₹2,600 crore, spanning transmission infrastructure, railway electrification, and renewable energy projects. Backed by rising investments in clean energy and power infrastructure, the business expects around 15% growth in FY27.
The growth reflects rising demand for transmission infrastructure, grid modernization, and renewable energy solutions, aligned with the Government of India’s focus on expanding the country’s energy ecosystem and accelerating the transition to cleaner power sources.
Commenting on the momentum, Mr. Raghavendra Mirji, Business Head – Energy Solutions, said, “India’s push for stronger power infrastructure and cleaner energy is creating significant opportunities. Our order book reflects growing demand across transmission infrastructure, railway electrification, and renewable energy solutions. We are expanding in key markets such as Gujarat and Rajasthan, witnessing rapid renewable capacity additions, and in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, where industrial and urban demand drives transmission and grid investments. Godrej remains committed to delivering integrated, future-ready infrastructure to support India’s evolving energy needs.”
Over the past year, the company executed several projects across India, including:
- Transmission infrastructure: Commissioning 25 units of 765kV AIS and GIS bays in Gujarat, 54 units of 400kV and below AIS/GIS bays in multiple regions, and a 220/132kV AIS substation in Sikkim
- Railway electrification: Delivery of three railway traction substations supporting electrification of railway networks
- Renewable energy: Expansion of the solar portfolio with a 6.5 MWp rooftop solar installation in Jaipur, highlighting growing adoption of clean energy by commercial and industrial customers
