H.D. Kumaraswamy Inaugurates AMPIN Energy’s 5 MW Solar Power Project at BHEL Haridwar

Union Minister for Steel and Heavy Industries, Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy, visited AMPIN Energy Transition’s 5 MW Ground-Mounted Solar Power Plant at the Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) facility in Haridwar, where he formally dedicated the infrastructure to the nation, highlighting India’s growing capabilities in the heavy engineering sector.

Speaking at the event, Shri Kumaraswamy said, “I am privileged to dedicate this 5 MW Ground-Mounted Solar Power Plant to the nation. With over 11,000 solar modules and an expected annual generation of around 90 lakh kWh, the project will contribute to clean energy production while significantly reducing carbon emissions.”

The plant is expected to generate approximately 90 lakh units of electricity annually, delivering substantial operational savings and advancing India’s renewable energy and sustainability goals.
