Bharat Electricity Summit 2026: Global Power Leaders to Convene in New Delhi

The Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, a flagship global conference-cum-exhibition for the power and electricity sector, will be held from March 19–22, 2026 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi.

The Summit is expected to host over 100 conference sessions, 300+ speakers, participants from more than 80 countries, over 500 exhibitors, including 100+ startups, and more than 25,000 visitors, positioning it among the largest global platforms for the electricity sector.

Themed “Electrifying Growth. Empowering Sustainability. Connecting Globally.”, the event will feature a wide-ranging programme including strategic and technical conferences, leadership panels, and industry interactions aimed at shaping the next phase of growth in the global electricity ecosystem.

Key attendees will include Manohar Lal, Pralhad Joshi, Shripad Naik, Pankaj Agarwal, and Ghanshyam Prasad, along with international energy ministers, state-level policymakers, and over 100 CEOs from leading power sector companies.

The Summit will serve as a platform for policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, and investors to deliberate on key priorities including renewable energy integration, grid modernisation, energy storage, and digital transformation of the electricity sector.

A major focus will be on promoting domestic manufacturing under the Make in India initiative, with emphasis on indigenisation across solar, energy storage, transmission infrastructure, and digital distribution technologies. Investment opportunities in India’s power sector are estimated to exceed ₹50 lakh crore by 2032, spanning generation, transmission, distribution, and storage.

The event will also feature a 20,000 sqm exhibition showcasing innovations across the electricity value chain, including power generation technologies, smart grids, battery storage, and clean energy solutions. Dedicated zones will highlight startups, emerging technologies, and energy innovation.

Specialised programmes such as international and national ministerial meets, CEO forums, and thematic sessions will address key topics including energy storage, hydropower, carbon markets, Industry 4.0, and regulatory frameworks. Sessions will also spotlight emerging areas such as energy startups, youth engagement, and women leadership in the electricity sector.

With participation from over 25 Indian states and Union Territories and strong international representation, the Summit is expected to strengthen global collaboration, drive innovation, and reinforce India’s leadership in the energy transition.
