KP Green Energy Limited has announced that its material subsidiary, Sun Drops Energia Limited (SDEL), has completed the acquisition of an additional 43,49,560 equity shares in DEK and Mavericks Green Energy Limited (DMGEL). The development marks further progress in SDEL’s ongoing process to acquire up to 100% of DMGEL’s equity share capital.
The latest acquisition follows earlier intimations issued by KP Green Energy on August 21, 2026, and September 26, 2026, regarding the proposed transaction. With the completion of this additional share purchase, SDEL’s total holding in DMGEL has increased to 1,50,97,320 equity shares.
According to the company’s disclosure, the accumulated shareholding represents 88.37% of DMGEL’s total paid-up equity share capital as of October 17, 2026. The increased stake strengthens SDEL’s ownership position in DMGEL and brings the subsidiary closer to its stated objective of acquiring the entire equity share capital of the company.
KP Green Energy stated that the relevant disclosures concerning the transaction were submitted in accordance with the applicable requirements of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015. The disclosures also refer to the SEBI Master Circular dated January 30, 2026, and were initially provided alongside the company’s August 2026 intimation.
SDEL communicated the completion of the additional acquisition to KP Green Energy on October 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Following receipt of the information, KP Green Energy submitted the necessary records to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited.
The disclosure was authenticated by the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of KP Green Energy Limited. The transaction represents a significant development in the company’s acquisition strategy through its material subsidiary.
