The CII Indian Green Building Council, in partnership with the Government of Telangana, has officially unveiled the third edition of the IGBC Green Property Show 2026, underscoring the state’s growing commitment to sustainable urban development and Net Zero ambitions.

The event brochure was launched by Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy, who reiterated the government’s focus on advancing environmentally responsible infrastructure. The unveiling ceremony was attended by key dignitaries, including Dr. Yogita Rana (IAS), Principal Secretary, Department of Education; Ms. Sudha Reddy of Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited; Ms. A. Dakshayani of Ramky Foundation; and Mr. C. Shekhar Reddy, National Chairman of IGBC.

Scheduled to take place from May 22 to 24, 2026, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, the exhibition will be held under the theme “Better Homes for You!”. The event builds on the success of its inaugural 2023 edition and aims to accelerate the adoption of green building practices across the region.

The show will feature IGBC-certified and pre-certified residential and commercial projects aligned with Telangana’s sustainability goals. These developments are designed to deliver benefits such as improved indoor air quality, reduced energy and water consumption, lower operational costs, and enhanced occupant well-being.

In addition to real estate showcases, the exhibition will present a wide range of eco-friendly products, technologies, and services that promote practical and accessible sustainable living solutions. The platform is expected to attract homebuyers, investors, property owners, and tenants seeking environmentally responsible lifestyle options.

Industry experts note that increased adoption of green building practices can significantly reduce resource demand, thereby optimizing energy and water infrastructure across the state. This positions Telangana as a key leader in sustainable urban growth in India.

Commenting on the development, IGBC National Chairman C. Shekhar Reddy highlighted Hyderabad’s emergence as a hub for green development, adding that the event will serve as a collaborative platform for stakeholders to showcase innovations and drive the green building movement forward.
