Anchored by the tagline “GREW Solar – Powering the Next,” the campaign highlights the role of reliable energy as a critical enabler of progress across sectors such as sports, business, and infrastructure. The film draws parallels between the evolution of cricket training—from reliance on daylight to performance under stadium lighting—and the growing importance of dependable energy in driving consistent outcomes.

This marks GREW Solar’s second cricket-led campaign in 2026, following its earlier association with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women’s Team, which positioned the company as a cost-effective and sustainable growth partner.

Commenting on the campaign, Vinay Thadani said the initiative reflects the transition of energy from a background utility to a core driver of performance, emphasizing the need for reliable and future-ready power solutions. Rosette Soares added that the campaign is aimed at a new generation of decision-makers who view sustainable energy as a present necessity rather than a future goal.

The campaign launch comes amid strong growth in India’s solar sector, with the country adding a record 45 GW in FY 2025–26 and surpassing 150 GW of installed solar capacity. Solar energy now accounts for over half of India’s renewable energy mix, underscoring its increasing role in the nation’s energy transition.

GREW Solar plans to amplify the campaign through a multi-channel strategy, leveraging digital platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, along with targeted outreach across business media, aligning with major T20 cricket league engagements.
