Arevon Energy, Inc., a leading energy developer, owner, and operator in the United States, has achieved gold certification under the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) Certification Program run by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). This recognition highlights the companyโ€™s continued commitment to building an inclusive workplace and promoting diversity across the clean energy sector.

SEIAโ€™s DEIJ Certification Program is designed to recognize companies that demonstrate real progress and leadership in creating inclusive work environments. The program is based on more than 30 evidence-based focus areas, each addressing specific aspects of workplace culture, policies, and practices. It encourages companies to regularly assess their operations and make meaningful improvements to ensure inclusivity at every level.

Over the past four years, Arevon has actively participated in the program, using it as a framework to review its policies, identify gaps, and strengthen its approach to diversity and inclusion. The process has helped the company expand its efforts and build a more forward-looking and inclusive organizational culture. Arevon first earned bronze certification in 2022, progressed to silver in 2024, and has now reached the gold levelโ€”making it one of only 11 organizations to achieve this distinction.

Justin Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Arevon, stated that diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice have been a core part of the companyโ€™s values since its founding. He emphasized that inclusion is not a one-time effort but an ongoing process that requires continuous learning, accountability, and action. He also noted that the company has made significant progress over the past year by strengthening inclusive practices and expanding employee education initiatives.

The DEIJ Certification Program itself is developed by certified diversity professionals and uses evidence-based methods to guide organizations. Participating companies complete a series of structured modules that require concrete actions, such as improving workplace culture, increasing community engagement, and strengthening the ability to attract, develop, and retain diverse talent.

As Arevon continues to grow, it remains focused on advancing DEIJ principles as a key part of its long-term strategy. The company views diversity and inclusion not only as ethical priorities but also as important drivers of innovation, resilience, and sustained business success.
