SUNation Energy Inc. Tops PSEG Long Island Territory In 2025 With 9.3 MW Of Installed Solar Capacity

SUNation Energy Inc. SUNation Energy Inc., a major provider of solar and backup power solutions for residential, commercial, and municipal customers, announced that it ranked first among solar contractors in total installed capacity within the service territory of PSEG Long Island PSEG Long Island during 2025.

According to the most recent publicly available utility interconnection data, the company installed 9,379 kilowatts AC (9.3 MW) during the year. This performance contributed to an approximate 29 percent year-over-year increase in SUNation’s total installed capacity across Long Island Long Island, demonstrating its expanding footprint in the region.

He noted that finishing 2025 as the top installer in the PSEG Long Island territory underscores steady customer demand, effective local execution, and the scalability of the company’s platform.

This familiarity allows SUNation to complete projects efficiently, maintain strong customer satisfaction, and create additional opportunities across residential, commercial, and service lines.

Updated interconnection data further confirms that SUNation increased its overall installed capacity on Long Island by roughly 29 percent year over year in 2025. This growth underscores the company’s strengthening presence in its core market and supports management’s view that local scale, effective execution, and a diversified service offering continue to drive the platform’s long-term expansion.
