Fervo, an Italian company active in technical and energy services for infrastructure and real estate management, has completed the acquisition of BayWa r.e. Power Solutions from BayWa r.e. AG. The acquired business represents the Italian division specializing in the development, design, and construction of photovoltaic systems.
This transaction supports the expansion of Fervo’s Energy business unit and is aligned with the group’s objective of reaching €100 million in revenue by 2026.BayWa r.e. Power Solutions, based in Verona, develops and installs rooftop and ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, energy storage solutions, and integrated energy systems for industrial clients, utilities, and independent power producers.
Founded in 2020, the company has become a well-established EPC provider in Italy, installing more than 120 MWp for major domestic and international customers. It currently generates over €20 million in annual revenue and manages a substantial project pipeline for the coming years.By completing this acquisition, Fervo is adding specialized renewable energy expertise to its existing capabilities.
Headquartered in Nova Milanese, the group focuses on Technical Services and Energy Management, and this step strengthens its position in the renewable energy market while enhancing its ability to scale across the sector in line with its long-term growth plans.Following the transaction, Fervo now employs more than 340 people and has opened an operational office in Verona.
This expansion further consolidates the group’s role as an integrated provider of technical and energy services for real estate portfolios and infrastructure assets.Fervo’s CEO, Alessandro Belloni, stated that the acquisition significantly reinforces the company’s position in a sector that increasingly requires integrated solutions combining plant development, services, and data-driven management.
He noted that the addition of BayWa r.e. Power Solutions will enhance Fervo’s ability to support customers in their energy transition and in reducing their environmental impact.Francesca Manso, Managing Director of BayWa r.e. Power Solutions S.r.l., explained that being part of BayWa r.e. allowed the company to access strong technical knowledge and build a solid operating platform.
She added that joining Fervo marks a natural next step in the company’s growth and aligns with a broader strategic vision tailored to the dynamics of the renewable energy market.Rocco Ruggiero, Chief Operating Officer of Fervo, emphasized that bringing BayWa r.e. Power Solutions into the group adds a highly skilled team with strong technical, operational, and engineering capabilities. He noted that this strengthens Fervo’s ability to manage all stages of energy projects more effectively, ensuring full oversight of the energy value chain.
