Premier Energies Limited has officially announced the cancellation of its proposed acquisition of a majority stake in Ksolare Energy Private Limited. The company disclosed the development through a regulatory filing submitted to both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on May 11, 2026. The filing stated that the previously planned joint venture arrangement with Syrma SGS Technology Limited has now been terminated following mutual discussions between the parties involved.

The acquisition proposal was originally announced on October 23, 2025. Under the plan, Premier Energies and Syrma SGS Technology intended to jointly acquire a 51% equity stake in Ksolare Energy Private Limited. The move was expected to strengthen their presence in the solar inverter and renewable energy electronics business. However, after reviewing evolving strategic priorities and business considerations, the companies decided not to move forward with the transaction.

According to the companyโ€™s official communication signed by Company Secretary Ravella Sreenivasa Rao, the decision to discontinue discussions with Ksolare was reached amicably and with mutual consent. Premier Energies also clarified that the cancellation of the deal would not have any material financial impact on the company. The disclosure was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.

Despite the cancellation of the acquisition, Premier Energies reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the renewable energy sector. The company stated that it continues to remain focused on expanding its presence in solar inverter technologies and renewable energy electronics. Management is currently exploring alternative strategies and opportunities to strengthen this business segment outside the framework of the earlier proposed joint venture.

Headquartered in Hyderabad, Premier Energies remains an active player in Indiaโ€™s growing renewable energy industry and continues to pursue expansion through other strategic initiatives in clean energy technology.
