Solex Energy Limited has reported a record-breaking financial performance for the quarter and fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, marking a major milestone in its growth journey within India’s renewable energy sector. The company crossed ₹1,600 crore in total revenue during FY2026, driven by strong demand for solar photovoltaic modules and large-scale Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects across the country.
In the fourth quarter alone, the company recorded revenue of ₹882.95 crore, reflecting a remarkable year-on-year growth of 247.1%. The sharp rise in revenue highlights the company’s rapid expansion in manufacturing capacity and its ability to execute projects efficiently across different market segments. The strong performance also demonstrates the growing demand for advanced solar technologies in India as the country continues to accelerate its renewable energy targets.
According to Dr. Chetan Shah, Chairman and Managing Director of Solex Energy, the company’s strong results were mainly supported by increasing demand for high-efficiency N-Type solar modules. He stated that the company’s focus on technology, manufacturing quality, and timely project execution helped strengthen its position in the Indian solar market.
During the fiscal year, Solex completed more than 200 EPC projects across multiple sectors, including solar parks, industrial facilities, and infrastructure developments. The successful delivery of these projects has helped the company expand its customer base and establish itself as a trusted partner in India’s clean energy transition.
The company also reported a strong future business outlook supported by an order book exceeding ₹4,000 crore. This order pipeline is expected to provide stable revenue visibility for the next 15 to 18 months. The management believes that continued policy support from the Indian government and rising investments in renewable energy will further strengthen market opportunities for domestic manufacturers.
Solex Energy’s inclusion under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) framework has also played a major role in supporting its growth. The ALMM certification confirms the company’s compliance with domestic manufacturing and quality standards, making it eligible for participation in large-scale government-backed solar projects.
The company currently operates a fully automated manufacturing facility at Tadkeshwar in Gujarat with an annual production capacity of 4 GW. The plant uses Industry 4.0 technologies, including real-time monitoring systems and automated quality control processes, to improve manufacturing efficiency and ensure reliable product performance for both domestic and export markets.
In addition to expanding module manufacturing, Solex is also focusing on vertical integration and energy storage. The company recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Gujarat for a ₹4,000 crore integrated solar cell and Battery Energy Storage System manufacturing project. This initiative is expected to strengthen supply chain security and support the growing demand for energy storage solutions in India.
With nearly three decades of industry experience, Solex Energy continues to evolve from a solar manufacturer into a comprehensive renewable energy solutions provider, positioning itself strongly for future growth in the global clean energy market.
