Eco Solutions, a solar energy and environmental solutions company, has signed a strategic partnership with AESOLAR, a German company specializing in the manufacture of high-efficiency solar panels, in a move aimed at supporting the renewable energy market in Egypt and promoting the transfer of advanced European technology to the local market.
Engineer Ziad Al-Sukkari, a member of the board of directors of Eco Solutions, said that the new partnership represents an important turning point in the company’s strategy to expand in the solar energy sector, explaining that the agreement includes supplying about 1000 megawatts of AESOLAR panels to the Egyptian market, after the signing of official contracts and agreements between the two parties and the official announcement of the start of cooperation.
Al-Sukkari added that the cooperation is not limited to commercial distribution only, but extends to a comprehensive strategic partnership that includes technical support, training programs, technology transfer, in addition to developing specialized solutions that suit the needs of the Egyptian and African markets, in line with the great expansion in reliance on clean energy sources.
He pointed out that AESOLAR is one of the world’s leading companies specializing in solar energy technology, with an advanced industrial base that includes a factory in China and another in Turkey. It is also ranked among the top 10 producers of solar panels worldwide, which enhances the opportunities to provide high-quality and efficient products in accordance with European standards.
He explained that the products to be launched rely on the latest solar panel technologies specifically designed to operate efficiently in harsh climatic conditions and high temperatures, in line with the nature of the Egyptian market and the markets of the region.
A member of the board of directors of Eco Solutions confirmed that the partnership targets several key sectors including factories, commercial projects, the agricultural sector, as well as government projects, within the framework of supporting the Egyptian state’s direction towards expanding renewable energy, reducing carbon emissions and achieving sustainable development goals.
Al-Sukkari revealed that there is a future plan to expand cooperation, which includes studying opportunities for local assembly within Egypt, which will enhance the localization of the industry, reduce costs and increase competitiveness, in addition to targeting exports to African and Middle Eastern markets through Egypt as a regional center for solar energy.
He pointed out that the most prominent challenges facing the sector currently are financing, global price fluctuations, and the significant increase in demand for high-quality products, while emphasizing that the company is working on developing new partnerships and technologies that will be announced in the coming period.
He stressed that the main message of this partnership is to provide global solutions with European standards to support the growth of the solar energy sector in Egypt, and to promote reliance on clean energy in a way that achieves real added value for the local market.
Al-Sukkari stressed that the partnership directly supports the Egyptian state’s strategy to expand clean energy projects, noting that increasing reliance on high-efficiency solar panels will contribute to supporting Egypt’s target of reaching a 45% contribution of renewable energy to the energy mix by 2028, through promoting solar energy projects and providing advanced technological solutions that suit the needs of the local market
