Saatvik Green Energy Limited has secured and accepted a domestic order worth ₹171.45 crore from an independent power producer for the supply of TOPCon bifacial glass-glass solar PV modules, strengthening its position in India’s utility-scale solar market.

The latest-generation TOPCon bifacial modules are designed to generate electricity from both the front and rear sides of the panel, enabling higher energy output compared to conventional solar modules. Built with dual-glass construction instead of traditional plastic backsheets, the modules also offer enhanced durability and improved weather resistance, making them suitable for large-scale ground-mounted solar projects.

Commenting on the development, Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Green Energy Limited, said the order reflects the confidence that leading project developers place in the company’s manufacturing capabilities and product quality. He added that being selected for a project of this scale at a major Indian solar site reinforces the company’s commitment to timely delivery and high manufacturing standards as India progresses toward its 500 GW clean energy target.

The order further strengthens Saatvik’s growing order book and reinforces its position as a preferred domestic supplier in the utility-scale solar segment. The development also highlights the broader industry trend of project developers and EPC firms increasingly preferring locally manufactured solar modules over imports, driven by reliability, service assurance, and the government’s Make in India initiative.

With its expanding manufacturing capacity and continued investments in next-generation solar technologies, Saatvik Green Energy Limited aims to capitalise on the rising demand for domestically produced solar equipment in India’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
