Roofsol Energy has announced the commissioning of a 4 MWp rooftop solar project for Greenlam Industries at the companyโs manufacturing facility in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh, under the OPEX model.
According to Roofsol Energy, the newly commissioned project represents the third repeat order received from Greenlam Industries, increasing the total entrusted solar capacity between the two companies to 8 MWp. The development reflects the ongoing partnership focused on renewable energy adoption and industrial sustainability initiatives.
The rooftop solar plant has been developed using high-efficiency solar modules and advanced inverter technology to support optimized power generation, operational reliability, and long-term electricity cost savings for the manufacturing facility.
Roofsol Energy stated that the 4 MWp installation is expected to offset nearly 4,800 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually. The company noted that the environmental impact is equivalent to planting more than 200,000 trees each year.
The project forms part of Greenlam Industriesโ broader efforts to enhance clean energy usage across its operations while supporting energy transition and sustainability goals within the manufacturing sector.
Roofsol Energy provides customised solar solutions for industrial and commercial clients under both CAPEX and OPEX business models, supporting companies in reducing energy costs and improving environmental performance.
