POWERGRID received the official Notification for Commercial Operation (DOCO) on June 3, 2026. The announcement was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The filing was signed by Satyaprakash Dash, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of POWERGRID.

The newly commissioned project aims to strengthen the transmission network in Gujarat by increasing the Available Transfer Capability (ATC) from the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS). This enhancement will support the efficient movement of electricity across the grid and improve the reliability of power transmission in the region.

POWERGRID, a Government of India enterprise headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana, plays a key role in developing and operating the countryโ€™s power transmission infrastructure. The commissioning of this project reflects the companyโ€™s continued efforts to expand the national grid network and support growing electricity demand across different states.
