Radiance Renewables Commissions 87 MWp Solar Project to Support Industrial Clean Energy Demand in Karnataka

Radiance Renewables has commissioned an 87 MWp solar power project in Karnataka, expanding renewable energy access for commercial and industrial (C&I) consumers and reinforcing the growing role of corporate renewable energy procurement in India’s energy transition.

The project has been developed to supply clean electricity to commercial and industrial customers through the open-access route, enabling businesses to reduce their dependence on conventional power sources while advancing their sustainability and decarbonization objectives.

With industries increasingly seeking reliable and cost-effective renewable energy solutions, the commissioning reflects the continued growth of India’s C&I solar market, which has emerged as a key driver of renewable energy deployment across the country. Open-access projects allow businesses to directly procure renewable power, helping them manage energy costs and meet environmental commitments.

Karnataka remains one of India’s leading renewable energy markets, supported by a strong industrial base and a well-established open-access framework. The state’s favorable renewable energy ecosystem continues to attract investments aimed at serving the energy requirements of commercial and industrial consumers.

The newly commissioned project adds to Radiance Renewables’ expanding portfolio of renewable energy assets and strengthens its presence in the C&I segment. The company has been actively developing renewable energy solutions for businesses seeking long-term access to clean power.

As Indian industries accelerate efforts to achieve sustainability targets and reduce carbon emissions, large-scale solar projects such as this are expected to play an increasingly important role in supporting corporate energy transition strategies while contributing to the country’s broad.
