The Central Government has approved ₹531 crore in Central Financial Assistance (CFA) for 553 solar power providers in Rajasthan under Component-C of the PM-KUSUM scheme. The funding is aimed at supporting decentralized solar power generation and strengthening the state’s agricultural energy infrastructure.
Of the total approved assistance, ₹379.41 crore has been allocated to 432 solar power providers associated with Jodhpur Discom, covering projects with a combined capacity of around 429 MW. Meanwhile, ₹151.21 crore has been sanctioned for 121 solar power providers under Ajmer Discom, supporting approximately 169 MW of solar capacity.
The approved projects collectively represent nearly 598 MW of solar generation capacity. The financial assistance will be routed through the respective distribution companies and transferred directly to beneficiaries, supporting the expansion of renewable energy deployment and reliable power supply for the agricultural sector in Rajasthan.
