Radiance Renewables has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Softgel Healthcare Private Limited, strengthening its partnership with India’s manufacturing sector and supporting the industry’s transition to renewable energy.
Under the agreement, Softgel Healthcare will procure green power from Radiance Renewables to advance its sustainability goals while gaining access to reliable and cost-effective energy solutions. The collaboration is aimed at helping the healthcare manufacturer reduce its carbon footprint and increase the share of renewable energy in its operations.
Radiance Renewables said the project is expected to avoid approximately 130,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions over the life of the agreement, equivalent to planting around 270,000 trees. The initiative is also projected to conserve more than 314,000 cubic metres of water compared to conventional power generation, with an additional 10,000 cubic metres of water savings through the use of robotic cleaning technologies.
The company stated that the partnership reflects the growing momentum among Indian industries to decarbonize operations through renewable energy adoption while achieving both environmental and economic benefits.
