Waaree Energies Limited has secured an order for the supply of 800 MW of solar modules from a leading domestic energy solutions provider, further strengthening its order book in the Indian solar market.
The company announced the development through a regulatory filing, stating that the order was received on June 15, 2026. The contract involves the one-time supply of 800 MW of solar modules and is scheduled for execution during the financial year 2026-27.
According to the filing, the customer is a renowned domestic entity operating in the energy solutions sector. While the company did not disclose the identity of the customer, it confirmed that the order pertains to the supply of solar modules for projects within India.
Waaree Energies stated that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any related-party transaction. The company also confirmed that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the customer awarding the contract.
