At Asia Sustainable Energy Week (ASEW) 2026 in Bangkok, Solplanet highlighted the ASW 360K-HT as its high-power string inverter designed to meet these priorities. The ASW 360K-HT is listed for use under Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) requirements, giving project stakeholders a locally recognised foundation for system design and grid interconnection.

At the system level, the ASW 360K-HT is engineered to capture more energy from today’s utility-scale arrays. Its six independent maximum power point trackers, with five string inputs per MPPT, provide flexibility across large and complex plant layouts. A maximum operating current of 75 A per MPPT makes the inverter compatible with high-current, large-format PV modules, while the 1,500 V DC architecture supports efficient utility-scale system design. Maximum conversion efficiency reaches 99.01%, helping translate more available solar energy into usable AC output.
Solplanet also addresses yield losses that cannot be solved by conversion efficiency alone. ShadeSol shadow management is designed to reduce the impact of mismatch within PV strings, helping the inverter locate a better operating point when array conditions are uneven. Tracker-fusion capability further supports utility-scale configurations, while integrated Anti-PID functionality helps mitigate module degradation over the project lifetime. Together, these features are intended to protect long-term energy production—not simply peak performance under laboratory conditions.
Environmental resilience is especially relevant in Thailand, where high temperatures, humidity, dust and salt-laden air can place continuous stress on power electronics. The ASW 360K-HT combines high-level C5 corrosion protection (C5-H) with an IP66-rated enclosure, helping protect the inverter against dust, water and aggressive outdoor environments. It is designed to operate from -30°C to 60°C and at altitudes up to 5,000 metres, with derating above 4,000 metres.
Reliability is reinforced through DC connector and AC terminal temperature detection, smart DC disconnection and stable operation in weak-grid conditions. Day- and night-time reactive power control gives plant operators additional flexibility in meeting evolving grid requirements. Smart self-cleaning fans can run in reverse to help expel accumulated dust as a way to maintain cooling performance and support energy yield over time.
For operations and maintenance teams, the inverter combines PV string monitoring with smart I-V curve tracing to accelerate fault detection and diagnostics. Secure remote firmware upgrades simplify long-term system management, while ABUS communication is designed to improve communication stability and reduce cabling costs. Compatibility with AC cables up to 500 mm², together with streamlined installation and maintenance, contributes to lower balance-of-system costs and supports a reduced levelised cost of energy (LCOE).
The result is a utility-scale inverter proposition built around three practical outcomes: higher lifetime yield, stronger operational reliability and more efficient plant economics.
