ACME Solar Holdings Limited has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for a 300 MW ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project under Hybrid Tranche IX. The agreement has been executed through the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Renewtech Fifth Private Limited.
Under the agreement, ACME Solar will develop the 300 MW hybrid renewable energy project and supply electricity to SECI at a tariff of ₹3.25 per unit. The project is scheduled to commence power supply by 30 June 2028 and will operate under a 25-year contract from the Scheduled Commencement of Supply Date (SCSD).
The project will be connected to the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) using ACME Solar’s existing grid connectivity in high solar irradiation and wind resource zones. Under the PPA, the project will maintain a minimum annual Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) of 30%. The tariff has already been approved and adopted by the relevant Central and State regulators.
With the execution of this agreement, ACME Solar’s PPA-signed portfolio has increased to 6,870 MW out of its total contracted renewable energy portfolio of 8,070 MW. The company currently has 2,990 MW of operational contracted capacity, 5,080 MW under construction, and approximately 3.62 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity within its portfolio.
