The rooftop solar project was developed by Constant Energy, with PE2T Energy Technique and Environment Joint Stock Company (PE2T) serving as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor. The installation marks another milestone in Vietnam’s renewable energy transition while helping Phenikaa Hue improve energy efficiency, strengthen energy resilience, and advance its long-term sustainability strategy.

According to the companies, the solar installation is expected to generate approximately 1.24 million kWh of renewable electricity annually, reducing reliance on grid electricity while avoiding more than 13,400 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions over the project’s operational lifetime.

Phenikaa Hue operates one of Vietnam’s advanced industrial mineral processing facilities, equipped with technology supplied by Grenzebach of Germany. The manufacturing plant commenced operations in January 2019 and continues to expand its production capacity.

Oscar Loza, Country Manager of Constant Energy Vietnam, said the project was the company’s fastest rooftop solar deployment in Vietnam, with construction, permitting, and licensing completed efficiently through close collaboration with Phenikaa Hue and EPC partner PE2T. He added that the installation demonstrated a high standard of engineering and construction quality.

Hoang Anh Trung Son, Director of Phenikaa Hue, described the solar project as an important milestone in the company’s sustainability roadmap. He said the installation reflects Phenikaa Hue’s long-standing commitment to environmental responsibility and will serve as the foundation for future initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions across its manufacturing operations in line with Vietnam’s Net Zero ambitions.

The companies stated that the partnership demonstrates how industrial enterprises can leverage rooftop solar to lower emissions, improve operational efficiency, and support Vietnam’s transition toward a low-carbon economy.
