Zambia Expands Clean Energy Capacity With 100 MW Chisamba Solar Plant Phase II

President Hakainde Hichilema has officially launched Phase II of the 100 MW Chisamba Solar Power Plant, adding another 100 MW of renewable energy capacity to Zambia’s national electricity grid. The expansion marks a major milestone in the country’s efforts to strengthen energy security and reduce its dependence on hydropower.
