RAYZON Solar Limited has entered into a five-year, 5 GW partnership with Caelux Corporation to integrate perovskite solar technology with its TOPCon solar modules, marking a significant step toward commercializing next-generation high-efficiency solar modules in India.
Under the agreement, RAYZON Solar will integrate Caelux’s energy-producing solar glass with its TOPCon module platform to manufacture hybrid tandem solar modules capable of achieving efficiencies of up to 28%. The collaboration is intended to support India’s “Make in India” initiative by advancing domestic manufacturing of next-generation solar technologies.
The partnership combines Caelux’s perovskite-based solar glass, which replaces conventional module glass with an additional electricity-generating layer, with RAYZON Solar’s large-scale bifacial module manufacturing platform. According to the companies, the hybrid tandem design increases module power density compared with conventional silicon-only solar modules.
RAYZON Solar said it will leverage its 11.3 GW manufacturing capacity to support large-scale production of the advanced modules. The companies are currently working on early-stage deployments, with commercial-scale production expected to begin by 2028. The modules are expected to be eligible for India’s government-tendered utility-scale solar market.
The collaboration also aligns with India’s expanding solar manufacturing sector, supported by the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) framework.

Amit Barve, Chief Executive Officer of RAYZON Solar, said the partnership will enhance the company’s ability to manufacture high-efficiency solar modules domestically and contribute to India’s target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030.
RAYZON Solar currently operates ALMM-listed manufacturing facilities in Kim and Kosamba, Surat, which the company said will provide the production scale required to commercialize the next generation of hybrid tandem solar modules.
