Kalpa Power Private Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lineage Power Private Limited, the manufacturing arm of Pace Digitek Limited, to secure priority access to up to 100 MWh of domestically manufactured Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity.
The agreement was signed during the 12th India Energy Storage Week (IESW) 2026 and is aimed at strengthening the supply chain for WATTBANK™, Kalpa Power’s battery energy storage system. The partnership will provide a dedicated supply of battery storage systems to support integrated renewable energy and storage projects across the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector.
According to the company, Kalpa Power currently has nearly 80 MWh of BESS capacity under deployment, and the newly secured capacity will support the rollout of WATTBANK™ across rooftop solar, open access, and hybrid renewable energy projects.
The company said the agreement aligns with its long-term objective of deploying 500 MWh of battery energy storage capacity by 2028, while expanding integrated renewable energy solutions for industrial customers across India.
Kalpa Power added that the partnership represents another milestone in its renewable-plus-storage strategy, reinforcing its commitment to delivering integrated clean energy solutions and supporting the country’s growing adoption of battery energy storage systems.
