DEWA Reports Record AED 3.33 Billion Net Profit In H1 2026

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has reported strong financial and operational performance for the first half of 2026, supported by rising demand for electricity and water services across Dubai.

DEWA recorded consolidated revenue of AED 14.86 billion during the six-month period, up 1.80% compared with H1 2025. EBITDA increased 5.27% year-on-year to AED 7.32 billion, reflecting continued operational efficiency.

Operating profit rose 9.08% to AED 4.07 billion, while net profit reached a record AED 3.33 billion, representing a 15.02% increase compared with the same period last year.

The strong performance was supported by Dubai’s economic and population growth, which continues to drive demand for essential utility services. DEWA is also strengthening its infrastructure through investments in sustainable projects, smart technologies, and innovation.

The improvement in profitability highlights DEWA’s focus on financial discipline and efficient operations. The utility continues to support Dubai’s long-term development plans by investing in reliable and sustainable electricity and water infrastructure while creating lasting value for shareholders.
