Hoymiles has commissioned a 7.7 MW solar power project in Gaya, Bihar, marking a significant step in the region’s transition toward clean and reliable energy. The project has been developed under the PM-KUSUM initiative and is powered by 20 units of Hoymiles’ 350 kW HINV350HX-G2 string inverters.
The project is designed to contribute clean electricity to the grid while supporting the growing energy requirements of the region. With agriculture playing a central role in Bihar’s economy, access to dependable power can help strengthen agricultural activities, including irrigation, while supporting the broader development of local communities.
The deployment of Hoymiles’ HINV350HX-G2 string inverters provides the project with a utility-scale power conversion solution designed for large solar installations. The commissioning further demonstrates the applicability of string inverter technology for distributed and utility-scale renewable energy projects in India.

The project was executed in collaboration with EPC partner Naw Dharam Energy and distribution partner Sun Solista. Their combined efforts, along with Hoymiles’ inverter technology, supported the successful delivery and commissioning of the solar installation.
The project also highlights the growing role of the PM-KUSUM scheme in enabling renewable energy deployment and strengthening clean-energy infrastructure in agricultural regions. By adding renewable generation capacity to the grid, such projects can contribute to India’s broader objectives of increasing renewable energy adoption and building a more sustainable power ecosystem.
